How To Support Friends From Afar During Their Time Of Need
It is February 2021 and we are still in the midst of a Global Pandemic due to COVID. This has deeply placed a damper on many of our styles in terms of travel, friendships, daily activities and more. Where I feel it most is my ability to support my friends by physically being there for them in their times of need. While we are able to reach out virtually via texts, phone calls or video chats, it is not the same.
One of our customers recently sent waffles to a friend who was clearly going through a hard time. The recipient of the waffles wrote an amazing note expressing how this small act of kindness really helped her mood.

"Kindness makes the world go round The other day I was feeling a little down in the dumps and I got a surprise package in the mail! Some very dear friends of mine had sent me a box from @sendmewaffles
Lemme tell you...this is like one of the best things that ever happened at me! It totally made my week and put a smile on my face. Plus, it’s a gift that keeps giving. These little waffles from heaven make the perfect mid morning coffee break snack.
Moral of the story: I’m very blessed. Also..if you want to show someone you care...send them a box of waffles! #wafflove"
-Emily, waffle recipient
What small act of kindness can you do today to make someone smile? Send a card, drop off something at their doorstep, send a dinner, Venmo a little bit of money, or even send waffles.
